Nintendo ships more DS units, attacks Sony

Nintendo DSFor those of you who can't get your hands on a shiny new DS, and don't want to deal with the eBay markups, Nintendo has announced they'll be shipping 400,000 units to both the US and Japan before the end of the year. Nintendo has already sold an estimated 1.2 million of these bad boys.

At nearly the same time as the announcement, Nintendo president Satoru Iwata was quoted as saying "PSP has been created with the assumption that the golden success formula is still working. We don't believe that. We're making every effort so that people will say we were right."
