am3 brings video to the GBA

GBAJapanese firm am3 will soon begin shipping an adapter that will allow Gameboy Advance owners to play video, stills and flash-like animations. The adapter serves as an interface between the GBA and a SmartMedia card.

It looks like am3 is using a proprietary DRM solution to control content. I give it a month before this gets cracked and we start seeing GBA porn.

The adapter will sell for eleventy-gajillion yen.
